Conwy Golf Club have successfully defended their title in the Cynghrair Safonol Gaeaf — the County Winter Scratch League — retaining the top spot in the 2025/26 season ahead of a strong field of seven teams representing clubs from across the county.
The Final Table
Conwy A finished the season at the top, accumulating 22.5 points from six matches to claim the title. North Wales pushed them hardest throughout, finishing runners-up with 21 points. St Deiniol took third place with 16.5 points, with Nefyn in fourth on 15 points. Conwy B and Caernarfon rounded out the competitive mid-table positions, with Porthmadog completing the seven-team table.
Individual Honours
Two players shared the individual prize at the top of the standings, each accumulating 5 points from their six matches: Matt Peacock and Paul M Roberts, both of Conwy A, finish joint first in the individual table.
Congratulations to all players who took part across the seven clubs, and to Conwy for a well-deserved defence of their title.
