Congratulations to Shaun Lock and Brian Hardaker, winners of the 2026 Caernarfonshire & District Pairs Better-Ball Trophy at Holyhead Golf Club
Entry Conditions
- The competition is open to pairs of full members of clubs affiliated to the Caernarfonshire & District Golf Union. Both players in a pair must hold a current WHS Handicap Index.
- Handicap limit: 36.0 per player — pairs in which either player exceeds the handicap limit at the time of entry will not be eligible.
- Both players must be paid-up members of their home club for the current season. Players are not required to be members of the same affiliated club.
- Entries must be submitted as a pair. Individual entries will not be accepted.
- The entry fee is £40 per pair, payable at the time of entry. Entries will not be confirmed until payment has been received.
- Entries close at 5pm, one week before the date of the competition. Late entries will not be accepted.
- Tee times will be allocated by the Competition Secretary and confirmed to all entrants following the closing date.
- Both players are expected to present themselves at the host club at least 15 minutes before their allocated tee time.
- The competition will be played in a Better-Ball format under the Rules of Golf as laid down by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, the local rules of Holyhead Golf Club, and any conditions set by the CDGU Competition Secretary.
- The decision of the Competition Secretary in all matters relating to the conditions of entry shall be final.
