Tomi Slattery crowned PING Welsh Junior Tour under-14 OOM winner

Caernarfonshire Golf Union is delighted to congratulate Tomi Slattery of Royal St Davids Golf Club on winning the 2026 PING Welsh Junior Tour Order of Merit in the Under-14 Boys category.

The PING Welsh Junior Tour is Wales Golf’s premier junior development tour, providing talented young golfers with the opportunity to compete at quality venues across the country while earning Order of Merit points throughout the season. The tour plays an important role in developing the next generation of Welsh golfers and rewards consistent performances across a series of events.

Tomi produced an outstanding season across the six-event series, demonstrating remarkable consistency against some of the best junior golfers in Wales. His campaign included:

  • 1st – Hawarden Golf Club
  • 3rd – St Deiniol Golf Club
  • 5th – Trefloyne Golf Club
  • 7th – Morlais Castle Golf Club

Those results earned Tomi 30 Order of Merit points, securing first place in the Under-14 Boys standings and crowning an excellent season.

Although the Order of Merit has now been decided, Tomi will officially receive his trophy at the PING Welsh Junior Tour Finals Day, which takes place at Cardiff Golf Club on 4 October.

Everyone at Caernarfonshire Golf Union extends their congratulations to Tomi on this fantastic achievement. His success is a testament to the hard work and dedication he has shown throughout the season, and we look forward to following his continued progress in county and Welsh golf in the years ahead.
